Wizard Overview

Dieser Inhalt ist noch nicht in deiner Sprache verfügbar.

After starting a project, the Wizard guides you through processing your input and structuring your requirements. Through a tailor-made interface and AI assistance, it converts customer text into structured requirements while preserving the relationship between original sentences and final requirements.

Wizard Steps

1. Image Addition

  • New images can be added directly on the start page or later in an existing project by simply uploading them via the media page. Alternatively, you can load additional images later in the wizard.
  • Each image is displayed separately, and any AI endpoint that supports images can generate a description for it.
  • These generated descriptions can be individually accepted and will later be used to organize images into epics and create user stories.
  • The images stay linked with their corresponding descriptions, ensuring that this association carries over to the generated user stories.

Note: You can use Mockups and screenshots as images as well, even rough drafts will work. Also, you can use images from other sources, like a whiteboard photo from a workshop.

2. Epic Creation

In this step, you organize your original sentences into higher-level epics, ensuring that your requirements are both logically grouped and fully traceable. Whether you rely on AI-powered suggestions or create epics manually, this process helps maintain clear structure and oversight.

  • Generate or manually create epics from your original sentences.
  • Assign sentences to relevant epics using dropdown selections.
  • Benefit from AI-driven logical grouping while preserving traceability.
  • Use quick keyboard shortcuts for efficient organization.

During the epic creation process, the following functionalities are available:

AI Epic Suggestions

  • Click the central “Suggest Epics” button to receive AI-generated epic suggestions.
  • Select from multiple AI models using the dropdown on the right side of the button.

Note: Organization-owned AI models are always free to use.

  • Review, accept, and modify epic titles and descriptions as needed.

Sentence Management

  • Original sentences are displayed in a tiled view in the left column, including those generated from image descriptions.
  • Sentences are intelligently split at periods while preserving abbreviations.
  • Once assigned to an epic, sentences become hidden to indicate they’ve been processed.
  • Hidden sentences can be revealed for reassignment, with a “Hide” icon available for manual control.

Assignment Features

  • Suggested epics appear in the right column alongside their relevant sentences.
  • AI processes only the sentences visible on the current page.
  • Assign sentences from either column by selecting the epic from the dropdown next to each sentence.
  • Visual indicators denote whether sentences have already been assigned.
  • Bulk assignment is available by selecting the correct epic in on one sentence to pre-select this epic for all visible ones.

Epic-Specific Suggestions

  • Each epic includes its own “Suggest” button with AI model selection for targeted recommendations.
  • Quickly assign distributed sentences to the same epic with tailored suggestions.
  • Visual cues indicate both recommended and already assigned sentences.

Additional Guidelines for Manual Epic Creation

  • Use pagination controls to navigate through multiple pages of sentences.
  • To create an epic manually, click the “New Epic” button, provide a name and description, and then assign the relevant sentences.

3. Role Assignment

  • In the sentence view (left panel), simply highlight any word to instantly create a role or mark it as a synonym.
  • Alternatively, let the AI propose roles automatically.
  • Often, after reviewing a project, you already know which roles you want to work with — then you can use the button on the right panel to create new roles manually.

Note: Roles identify functional profiles (e.g. “Accountant”) for users of the software, as opposed to personas (which might refer to specific individuals, like “Johannes from accounting”).

  • Optionally, add synonyms to capture alternative names used in discussions or meetings, ensuring consistency.
  • Later, you can enhance roles by assigning attributes (such as text, number, or date) to help predefine your data model (see Roles / Entity Details).
  • There, you can also establish and review connections between roles and user stories—including linked permissions.

4. User Story Generation

  • On the final user page, review epics one by one to create user stories.
  • In the left column, review all unassigned original sentences; if you prefer a reading experience that mirrors the original format, switch to the detailed text view.
  • In the center under “Suggested Stories”, click the “Formulate” button using the selected AI. If multiple AI models are available, choose the one best suited for the task; suggestions will then be generated for all visible user stories, to be addressed one by one.

Note: All currently visible sentences are used to generate suggestion proposals.

  • Click on a generated user story to expand it for direct editing if, for example, you disagree with the “why” or “what” part. You can also immediately create new personas by typing and saving them. With a single click on the plus button, newly created stories are accepted and moved to the right column where all user stories are listed. Typically, at least one sentence appears below the user story as a candidate for assignment.
  • Assign the corresponding original sentence by clicking the “Assign” button—either directly below the user story or via the suggestion seen in the left pane. Once assigned, the original sentence is hidden in the left column to indicate it has been processed.
  • If additional sentences that match the user story (but were not automatically suggested) are available, manually assign them by selecting the sentence from the dropdown and clicking the “Assign” button; this will set the chosen story for all visible sentences, enabling quick processing.
  • Alternatively, click the suggestion button on the right side of the story to search through all sentences. In the resulting dedicated view, you can choose which sentences to assign based on visual indicators that show whether they are already assigned or if the AI suggested them to be assigned.
  • Likewise, if there are extra sentences in the left pane that match existing user stories (which have already been created but were not suggested by the AI, or already created because of a different sentence), click the suggestion button in the left column to display likely matches. You can then quickly assign them via the “Assign” button, effectively clearing duplicate sentences from the system.
