Manage story details including:

Basic Information

• Story name and description
• Priority level
• Release assignment
• Last edited timestamp

Links

The description can be used to create links with hash tags. Just type in the hash tag and you’ll get a list of other items in the project, which you then can link to. When they are linked in the description, they are “really linked” and will be shown in the linked items view. The corresponding items will list the story in the references.

AI Integration

Story details can be automatically populated with the help of your favourite AI model. Just roughly type up what you think is the story description and let the AI do the rest. Configure your AI settings in AI Settings.

Original Sentences

View and manage original requirement sentences that map to this story.

Tasks

• View and manage tasks within the story
  • View total development effort rolled up from tasks
  • See and change priority of tasks
  • Directly duplicate tasks
• Create new tasks manually
• Import tasks from the library
• Let the AI suggest new tasks based on the availablecontext

Tasks & Evaluation

• Track external costs
• Either set a fixed cost, or use the summed effort of the tasks as the cost
  • This is especially useful when you are in the starting phase of the project and the tasks don’t have any effort estimates yet. You don’t even need tasks to start with, you can just set the story cost directly.
  • Then, when further progress has been made and the tasks have effort estimates, you can just keep the effort estimates and change the cost type to the summed effort of the tasks.

Effort Estimation

storywise will tell you in overview views if the fixed set effort is less than the sum of the task efforts.

Features

Link related features to the story. This allows you to filter stories in the export and sync as well as the pricing information. See Features and Releases for more details.

Connections & Access Rights

• Manage connections to other items

Acceptance Criteria

• Define acceptance criteria specific to this story
• Use AI to suggest relevant criteria based on story context

• View inherited criteria from parent epic

Inheritance

Stories inherit acceptance criteria from their parent epic. You can add additional criteria specific to the story while maintaining the epic-level requirements.

Use the AI integration to get intelligent suggestions for acceptance criteria based on the story description and context. Configure AI settings in your AI Settings.

Visual Assets

Add images, mockups and other visual documentation

• Upload images directly to storywise
• Import designs from Figma
  • Link to specific Figma frames
  • Manually sync single frames or all frames at once when Figma designs are updated (see Figma Integration)
