Priorities

Dieser Inhalt ist noch nicht in deiner Sprache verfügbar.

The available priorities are:

  • Highest
  • High
  • Medium
  • Low
  • Lowest
  • Optional
  • Excluded

Priority Inheritance

Priorities inherit downward through the hierarchy - an epic’s priority affects all its child stories. For example, if an epic is marked as “Excluded”, all stories within that epic will effectively be excluded regardless of their individual priority settings.

Priority Usage

Standard Priorities (Highest to Lowest)

The five standard priority levels (Highest, High, Medium, Low, Lowest) directly map to common project management tool priorities, like those used in Jira. These stories and epics are:

  • Included in standard cost calculations
  • Synced to connected project management tools
  • Included in standard exports

Optional Priority

Items marked as “Optional” are handled specially:

  • Not included in the base cost calculations
  • Available separately for pricing scenarios (includable with a checkbox in the pricing view)
  • Included in exports in a separate section
  • Not synced to project management tools
  • Can be used for “nice-to-have” features or potential additions

Excluded Priority

Items marked as “Excluded” are:

  • Not synced to project management tools
  • Available in exports (marked clearly as excluded - depending on the export template)
  • Useful for documenting explicitly rejected or out-of-scope items
  • All child items inherit this exclusion
